متن کاملAn analytic solution for a non-local initial-boundary value problem including a partial differential equation with variable coefficients
This paper considers a non-local initial-boundary value problem containing a first order partial differential equation with variable coefficients. At first, the non-self-adjoint spectral problem is derived. Then its adjoint problem is calculated. After that, for the adjoint problem the associated eigenvalues and the subsequent eigenfunctions are determined. Finally the convergence ...
متن کاملSmall deformations of extreme Kerr black hole initial data
We prove the existence of a family of initial data for Einstein equations which represent small deformations of the extreme Kerr black hole initial data. The data in this family have the same asymptotic geometry as extreme Kerr. In particular, the deformations preserve the angular momentum and the area of the cylindrical end.
متن کامل0 Initial data for two Kerr - like black holes Sergio
We prove the existence of a family of initial data for the Einstein vacuum equation which can be interpreted as the data for two Kerr-like black holes in arbitrary location and with spin in arbitrary direction. When the mass parameter of one of them is zero, this family reduces exactly to the Kerr initial data. The existence proof is based on a general property of the Kerr metric which can be u...
متن کاملInitial data for two Kerr-like black holes.
We prove the existence of a family of initial data for the Einstein vacuum equation which can be interpreted as the data for two Kerr-like black holes in an arbitrary location and with spins pointing in arbitrary directions. We also provide a method to compute them. If the mass parameter of one of the black holes is zero, then this family reduces exactly to the Kerr initial data. The existence ...
